Hi,

I purchased a downstairs condo around 5 years ago, a lot happened since then but all bad, wealth and health wise.  Recently my friend visited and told me we should find out the feng shui of having stairs going upstairs right in front of our main door, they go like < .  They go to the upstairs units above us, these are 2 stories condo building.  We do have a small patio in front of our main door and wooden patio fence and there is a small gate on the left hand side of the main entrance.  But next to the gate on the left are the staircase on the right. 

We also have a wide patio glass door on the left of the main entrance and a window on the right hand side of the door.  Our main door entrance faces one of the bedroom window straight but we have NO back door.

Could i possibly know if this is bad fung shui?

Are you saying that you are sharing your main door with the above unit? From above, it seems that once your main door open, it opens direcly onto the stairs going upstairs to the other unit.  Do you have another door to you unit after this door?

A picture or drawing will help.
